I was just telling that story to Jenny and Brian last weekend and they thought we were such badasses. Of course, because we are.
And I think that given the same circumstance I would pick him up again. He was perfectly hippie and perfectly harmless.
Even my cynical side has a soft spot for hippies. OK...hippies that we saw 3 times in one day so as to assume that he wasn't an axe murderer and got from Colorado town to town without bloodshed.
I did forget the part about the sister's house, I do remember her saying "Of course you hitch-hiked home, I can't believe you did that again!" That was amusing.
